  • Facilities Manager

    • Application due by Wednesday, July 8.

    • The facilities manager will oversee all building and grounds maintenance for our school. They will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are safe, up to code, and fully operational. The facilities manager will also be responsible for managing contractors and third party vendors.

      • Planning building maintenance and operational programs
      • Managing all vendor contracts
      • Ensuring the efficiency of all building systems
      • Coordinating site safety programs with the school's crisis response team
      • Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
      • Ensuring all processes and compliance programs are met
      • Managing facilities planning and space allocation
      • Managing maintenance of grounds
      • Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations
      • Negotiating bids and contracts for third party workers
      • Coordinating building security and maintenance services
      • Coordinating all maintenance issues and schedules
    • Facilities Manager Requirements and Qualifications
      • Follows all company policies and procedures
      • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
      • Goal-oriented, organized team player
      • Encouraging to staff; able to mentor and lead
      • Self-motivated and self-directed
      • Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
      • Accurate and precise attention to detail
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Previous experience in maintenance supervision or related field
      • The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver
      • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
      • Computer skills; typing reports, writing emails, scheduling with Google Suite or similar software
      • Strict adherence to WSCS' mission statement
      • Must pass a criminal background check
