WSCS Transportation
Families living in the northwest Grand Rapids Public School boundaries may qualify to receive busing through GRPS. Although these buses are provided by GRPS, our WSCS students are the only ones riding these buses. A transportation fee may be added to your enrollment. West Side Christian School provides bus transportation for most families. At present, we have eight buses transporting our families from and around the following areas:
- Comstock Park/Sparta
- Coopersville/Marne
- Lamont
- Walker
- East Leonard (Leonard/Michigan/Fuller
- Wyoming (28th Street)
WSCS Hot Lunch
WSCS Hot Lunch
West Side Christian School is partnering with Grand Rapids Christian Schools to provide hot lunch meals EVERYDAY when school is in session (full days only).
K-8 Students
To order hot lunch, each student will require their own account on familyportal.cloud. Accounts should be set up under Grand Rapids Christian Schools, our hot lunch provider. This year’s price for hot lunch is $3.00/meal. Milk is included in this cost, but if you would like to order ONLY milk, this is $0.50/day.
Young 5s and Little Sprouts Children
Little Sprouts and Young 5s children will also be able to receive hot lunch on full school days. Parents will be able to order for their child(ren) via a Google Form and it will be delivered to the classroom with their name on the lunch bag. Unlike K-8 students, there is no need for your child to raise their hand for a hot lunch. The Google Form will be accessible Thursday, Friday, and Monday mornings until 8am for the upcoming week. Failure to do so will result in no lunch order for your child that week.

WSCS Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (TRIP)
TRIP/Scrip is a way to earn tuition credit for your family. Through TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program), we have partnered with Raise Right. Simply purchase gift cards and a designated percentage of each gift card is applied to your tuition account. Through this program, WSCS families earn thousands of dollars each year toward their tuition. With online orders & payments, you can shop & earn on-the-go. You can also download the RaiseRight app to use gift cards right from your phone!
Register
Start earning today! Register at the Raise Right site. You will need to have our school enrollment code, which you can obtain from the WSCS office at (616) 453-3925, email [email protected], or email TRIP at [email protected].
We encourage you to register to pay for your orders online through linking your bank account, which is an option when registering. If you would prefer to pay via check, you can send a check to the school office made out to WSCS TRIP; however, your order will not be processed immediately. You can also pay via a credit card, but there is a fee for using this option.
If you don’t have children enrolled at West Side Christian in K-8 yet, you can register and then fill out the Future Family Form. Watch the money add up!
You can also invite friends & family to join you in earning tuition credit. They’ll just need to register and then fill out the Donor Family Form to have their rebates directed to you.
Order
After registering, orders can be placed online or through the app. E-gift cards are typically available within minutes; physical gift cards are processed on Tuesdays & are available to pick up from school by the following week.
As an alternative, paper orders can be turned in with payment to the school office and are processed on Tuesdays. An Order Form can be found here.
If you would like a student to bring your order home from school, please fill out the Student Release Form.
TRIP Tuesdays
Orders & payments for physical gift cards are due in the WSCS office (or online) by 4 pm every Tuesday that school is in session & will be ready to pick up by the following Tuesday. We will email you when your order is ready to pick up.
TRIP To-Go
We sell many of our most popular gift cards right out of the office for you to pick up whenever the office is open! Our most popular items, Meijer and Family Fare gift cards, are available, along with several other local options. A complete list can be found HERE.
Orthodontic Services
A local orthodontist office, Beaches & Braces, offers a 7% rebate on monthly payments that are made through WSCS TRIP. Complete information can be found HERE.
Pay Out
Rebates earned will be applied to your tuition account at the beginning of July & December. If you are a Future Family, rebates will be saved for future use.
