Children have a natural curiosity and wonder. From kindergarten to fifth grade, we make the most of this exciting time of students’ educational journeys with an engaging hands-on curriculum that provides solid academic and spiritual foundations. Small class sizes allow our teachers to know their students exceptionally well, including their unique learning styles and how to best equip them for success.
WSCS is a close-knit community. Elementary-age students enjoy a safe and nurturing environment that feels like a second home. We invite you to schedule a visit and see it for yourself!

WEST SIDE CHRISTIAN
Elementary School
At WSCS we provide academic excellence through challenging curriculum and caring teachers. We embed all we teach with the Bible, a Christian lifestyle, and fostering a servant heart. Each classroom offers unique opportunities, and throughout their elementary school years, students will encounter a rich variety of academic, spiritual, and social learning opportunities in the areas of worship, outdoor education, academics and community.
We want our students to grow in their faith and relationship with God, which is why classroom praise and worship, devotions, and chapels are a regular part of our students’ day. Whether it’s tending to the school garden, creating a bat habitat, or classroom recycling, students will interact with creation on a daily basis through special projects. Above all, we encourage our students to strengthen relationships with their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and discover and develop their God-given abilities, passion, and potential.

WEST SIDE CHRISTIAN
Middle School
If you’re looking for a middle school where your child will grow in a close-knit community, develop important life skills, and prepare for the rigors of high school, you’ve come to the right place. West Side Christian School believes middle school is much more than a transitional time —it’s a season of growth where students strengthen their foundations for learning, serving, and growing in their love for God and His world.
Our teachers and staff act as mentors to students, helping them navigate tough questions about the world and deepen their faith. While many parents and families have anxiety about these years, our middle schoolers are surrounded in a learning culture where they can feel safe, have fun daily, and flourish in their gifts and talents.
Our middle school program is designed to prepare students to advance to and succeed in high school. The curriculum is rooted in the study of God’s word, and students are challenged to consider questions, issues, and lessons through the lens of Scripture. Teachers provide a supportive structure and environment, but encourage students to take personal responsibility for their work.
Chapels, small groups, praise band, and other worship opportunities help our students grow in their love for God and each other. Through various events, service opportunities, and activities, our students learn the value of community and putting into practice care and respect for others. Outdoor education is also incorporated in students’ education, with several nature-immersion opportunities and a focus on the stewardship of the natural resources with which we have been blessed.
Most importantly, in class as well as in extracurricular activities, our students are challenged to develop, deepen, and demonstrate their faith in Jesus Christ.
