It wasn’t that long ago that the WSCS Educational Foundation was celebrating a significant milestone of reaching $2 million. Today, we are thrilled to announce that we have more than doubled that amount, surpassing the $5 million mark! This remarkable achievement places us above average compared to other local school foundations and is a testament to the unwavering support and generosity of our community.

A Significant Milestone

Surpassing the $5 million mark is not just a financial achievement; it’s a reflection of our community’s commitment to education and the future of our students. This milestone allows us to continue providing essential resources and opportunities that enhance the educational experience for every student at WSCS.

One of the most tangible benefits of our endowment is the annual gift the Foundation gives to the school. This year, our annual gift is an impressive $188,000. This substantial contribution enables the Foundation to offer a discount of approximately $530 to each student. This discount helps to alleviate the financial burden on families, making quality education more accessible to all.

Reaching for the Long-Term Goal

While we celebrate this significant achievement, we remain focused on our long-term goal of building a $10 million endowment fund. Reaching the $5 million mark means we are almost halfway to this ambitious target. Achieving this goal will ensure the continued support and enhancement of educational programs for generations to come.
